Mortgage ProblemWhat is the name of your state? ca. My sister put a mortage on her house, then refinanced it, they are charging her $2,000.00 per month for a 240,000.00 loan that is for more than 20 years, now she can't afford the house payments, what can she do to keep her house and not pay so much per month? |

| Get a roommate. Or two. Refinance. Reduce her other debts. Try to sell, and bring cash to closing, if need be, to get out. My sister has a mortgage for about that about, and that's what her payments are. For about a 600 sq ft condo.
