Need help!

What is the name of your state? GA
This is the situation. My soon to be ex-spouse and I bought a house in July 2003, worth $125,000. His name is on the mortgage. He refused to put me on it, but he put my name on the deed. In the divorce the judge said that the house had to be put up for sale or I had the option of buying the house if I could get financing. He also said that after 3 months if the house was not sold then I had to start paying half of the mortgage. (Is this legal?) I was told by my ex's mortgage company (Wells Fargo) that the mortgage was his responsibility since it is in his name and not mine. Was also told that if the house was sold then the money was to be split between the both of us since he put my name on the deed. I want to buy him out of his half of the house but my ex states that I would have to pay for a full mortgage like everyone else instead of $62,500 otherwise he will still have to pay the mortgage company $62,500 for his half and it would give me the house. I need advice in this matter because he is trying to get me to pay the deficit.
