No longer on the orignal mortage but still on Deed of Trust

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I was hoping for a little help here. I keep running into brick wall with the mortage company.

I'm currently going through a divorce and I currently reside in the family home. Back in April of 2008 my soon to be ex-wife move out, leaveing me 2 months in the rears on the mortage. It was at that time I found out that my name was taken off the mortage. We have never refi'd or I never gave any consent to that during our marriage.

The area that I find concerning is that our mortage is with CountryWide. My wife and the person that we bought the house from also works with CountryWide in the very same office. They will not disscuss anything with because I am not on the mortage. I still am however on the deed of trust.

What can I do ?

Location: I don't know. The guys with the keys won't say. I think it's top secret info.

so you are not on the mortgage. I guess that means you don;t owe it.

Who is on the title to the property?
