paid my arrears, still being forclosed on

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

I was served with a lis pendens notice about a month ago, i immediately called the mortgage company (Wells Fargo), and asked them what i would need to do to stop the forclosure, the represtentative told me that if i paid my arrears that the forclosure would be halted while they worked on a modification. I paid the ammount the representative told me to pay by the deadline that was given. Now one week later i was served a notice of foreclosure. so I called wells fargo today and was told by a "senior representative" that the forclosure would continue until the modification was approved. So what are my options now?
