past due payment refused

What is the name of your state?NV
I have been in contact several times with my lender. I will be able to be 100% current by mid febuary. I would like to pay December before it is 45 days late. They are refusing to accept the payment. I was going to do a bank transfer. If they accept it I will no longer be over 30 days late.
Is this a good idea?

Once you are in default, the lender does not have to accept any money from you. They are stupid if they do not, but sometimes lenders do this.

Why, I could not tell you.
