Please Help what should i do?

What is the name of your state (washington)?

lll start at the beginning a few years ago we did a loan modification with saxon mortgage we paid them 4000 to do the modification it started in June we were going delinquent on the first month of the mortgage the wife called them they suggested we do a loan modification program through them we agreed but to qualify we had to be i dont know the word but over 3 months behind to qaulify. so we did and then we get a notice of sale for our house some guy came by and stapled it to the side of the house we freaked they told us its normal step in the process not to worry about it but we couldnt not we callled every couple weeks to see where we were at on the loan mod they were dragging their feet and worrying us to death it finally ended up going all the way into november when we were 2 weeks from the sale of our house before they finally called us and said we need 4000 dollars in the next 2 days or your not going to qualify for this program so we begged and borrowed and got the money for them they gave us the mod with higher monthly payments and higher interest with them saying we still owed them another almost 8000 in past payments that they would accept from us and it was a take it or pack your stuff situation so we took it stupid us but we love our house and dont want to lose it.

Ok now to the beginning of this year when Obamas new HAMP program came out we figured this would help because we were constantly monthly fighting with them over the past 8000 dollars and us asking them what the 4000 we paid them went for and them having no idea where the money actually was put towards. So we sign up for this new mod program because then they say itll take care of the remainder of the balance we owed them so just to have a fresh start we started on this program in June and agreed to pay them 1600 on the first of every month for three months after that we called and asked how it going because we were served with medical garnishments of 800 a month and we need to file bankruptcy so we can get out from those to keep our heads above water now the last payment was due august 1st which we made all of our payments on time. Into september it is now still theyre telling us its in the under writers. We are calling 1-2 times a week on this every time they say the status hasnt changed its in under writing. Now in october nothings changed. here it is going in to November i just got off the phone with them and they said well since you didnt make your september payment was late it was delayed until this month and the program was extended by 2 months but i say how can they do that we fulfilled our end of the bargain and now they are finding ways and excuses it seems to not fulfill their end of it. im hard pressed to file bankruptcy we paid the one garnishment off adn got served another today and i just want this nightmare over with what can i do? im drowning i dont want to lose this house.
