Prepayment Penalty

What is the name of your state?My home is in Pennsylvania,but the mort co. was in Calif.I recently refinanced with another mort co,and my prior mort. co. charged me a prepayment penalty.I have read thatethis penalty is not permitted in Pennsylvania.Please advise me on what can be done to recover this charge.Thank you.What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state?Pennsylvania.

It's a definite maybe, or not.
