Prepayment RiderWhat is the name of your state? Washington We obtained a home mortgage last year with a 3 year prepayment penalty. The mortgage company just sent us a letter stating that "the prepayment Rider which was attached and recorded with the original deed of Trust appears to be missing and must be signed and sent with the Deed of Trust for re-recording." What happens if we don't sign? Is the it valid? We are considering refinancing and the prepayment penalty would be 6 months interest |
