Programs to help Disabled vets with foreclosureWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MD I am currently an 80% disabled veteran with a claim in right now to have it increased to 100%. With that process I will have to retire from my gov position due to some of the disabilities I have. I currently own a house and with this going on I will not be able to maintain the house payment of 3k a month. Does the gov have any programs that will purchase my house from me or does the lender accept the house back... anything along those lines... Basically are there any programs out there that would assist me? |

| This is a legal advice forum.... you need to contact your area VSO (Veterans Service Officer) and see what benefits you might be eligible for. Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

| You may also want to set up an appointment with a HUD approved non-profit housing counselor: HUD Housing Counseling Their services are free. |
