| | | property foreclosed, now what?
What is the name of your state? Missouri
We owned several apartment buildings and several of them were foreclosed upon over the last year or so. We just got served with papers from one mortgage company trying to collect on the difference between what we owed and the sale price of the property. We need to know what will happen next...will they be able to garnish wages to collect or even get our own home? Should we get a lawyer to go to the court date with us? Should we expect that all the foreclosed properties will be going after the money and is bankruptcy a feasible option for us? Any help or advice would be appreciated! | |
