Question about home loan??????What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I am in the state of Georgia, my husband passed away last week and his name was the only one on our home loan, can I continue to pay the loan even if my name isn't on it, or will the bank try to take the house? (Also if I have to be put on the loan will my credit be checked?) |

| The bank can not force the loan due because your husband died. You must however continue to make the payments. You should inform them of what has happened. In addition to the loan, you need to take care of the house deed. Was your name on the deed, and if so, in what manner? |
