Question

Quit Claim-Is this all I need to sign?


What is the name of your state? Ohio
My husband is getting a loan to refinance our home. When he does this Iam signing the house and property over to him.Am I correct to say all I have to sign at the time of closing is a quit claim deed? Thanks Pattyab47

Yes, that would be all you would have to do.
However, I suggest you do NOT sign the quit claim until AFTER he can show you a 'paid in full' on the current mortgage (with YOUR name on it).

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

**A: at closing, you may be required to sign other "closing" documents.

You can attend the closing and see the HUD 1 showing the payoff of the refinanced mortgage, and you can request to see that lender's payoff statement to be certain it matches. The QC deed is released to the closer, not your ex, to only be recorded upon payoff and disbursement.

In my state, for example, there is a State Transfer Return that must accompany any deed presented for recording - even on exempt transactions. If your state has anything similar, you may also be required to sign that, as well.
