Question

Quit Deed Claim forms?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ohio

Hi, My wife and I are going through a dissolution of marriage , and we are wanting to get her name off of the deed of the house. Now the mortgage loan is only in my name, but her name is also on the deed with mine. the mortgage company said that when our dissolution is over we can file a quit deed claim form to change the deed from both of us to just me. I told the mortgage company that she is willing to take her name off the deed even before the dissolution is done, and they said then we can just get a quit deed form to do that. Is this correct? what are the differences between the forums? and where do i get them at?

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

You can buy a quit claim deed template in an office supply store, or go to a site like legal zoom. com. The trick is making sure it is absolutely legally correct in both information, legal description, and legal requirements such as witnesses and notary.

I think legal zoom helps withthat.
