Real Estate after Bankruptcy

What is the name of your state? Ohio

My husband and I have filed bankruptcy. The final court date was in late September. Our house was in that filing. My question is, what is our responsibility at this point as far as maintaining the house? We moved out of it 3 weeks ago and had the water, electricity and gas turned off. Are we totally responsible for the house until the mortgage company gives us an eviction notice? Should we contact the mortgage company and tell them we moved out?

are we responsible for anything that happens to the house even though we filed bankruptcy? We do still have things in the house and the neighbors are keeping an eye on things but I am concerned because winter is setting in.

**A: you need to ask the BK Trustee. As long as your name is on title, you are liable.
