refinancing

wisconsinWhat is the name of your state?
I just refinanced a mortgage loan. I told the mortgage company I wanted to be set up with the bi-weekly payment plan, at closing i realized that they never set it up that way, so i asked them about it and they said no problem they made an error and never got it set up for me, so they set it up and tell me the first draw from my account for $1010 will occur on oct. 21 which it did. then i got a phone call from my mortgage company saying that i never made my oct payment that was due october 15th. the october 15th payment was the original due date on the note. Then after they set up the bi weekly option for me, my first draw was going to ocur on oct 21. So there telling me i still have to pay both the 15th and 21st payment for october. I already payed the october 21st payment but not the 15th. How can they make you pay twice in the same month. What can I do?

Call your loan servicer and call the originating lender back and explain to them what's going on. There is obviously a mix-up here. They should be able to get it straight without to much difficulty.

If the 1010 is 1/2 of your monthly payment and you did not pay the other 1010 sometime in October you are behind on your Oct. payment. If a full payment was due in Oct.

Do you have the new plan in writing? Did you pay to have this new plan set up? Is it with an outside entity or the Mortgage Company?

To many questions without seeing the paperwork.
