| Refinancing

My father & I purchased a duplex a couple of years ago. The property was put in my parents name only, since my credit was poor due to a recent divorce. I remarried in 07 & my husband has a daughter from his previous marriage & I have 3. My parents are having to go thru inpections for the half that I live in since my name is not on the loan/Title. I show as "renting" the premises (city rules which now include background checks & Landlord classes). My father is going to refince & we were thinking of adding my name to the title. The question is: If I were to divorce in the future (hopefully not) can my husband get half of my half ? &/or in the event of his death, can his ex-wife (for his daughter) come after the property also since the change was done while we were married?
