What is the name of your state? New York
How difficult is it to get my brother's name off the deed of my house? I can't refinance because his name is on the deed and my brother never put 1 cent into my house, I have been putting all the money into my house for 10 years now.
Do I contact an attorney or can I do this myself?

Brother only made it possible for you to get the loan to begin with, that loan is in HIS name not your's/yours alone.
What did your brother say when you ask him to sign a release? Second thought it would probably just get censored. | |
