rental foreclosure

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? michigan

If own a rental house that is in my name only, but my name is also on the house that my husband and I own. If I am forced to forclose on my rental, how will that effect my husbands credit score and will this effect the house we currently live in? What are the conquences in having to do this?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
