Short sale or deed in lieu of foreclosure

What is the name of your state? Tennessee

In the case where you have both a mortgage and a home equity loan, is it possible to do a short sale or deed in lieu of foreclosure?

**A: yes but BOTH lenders must agree.

A DIL may be tough as the first mortgage holder will require the property to be free and clear of all other liens.
