Sue lender after forclosure?What is the name of your state? Maryland MY investment property(currently rented) was foreclosed and sold without proper notification. Lender's attny. do not send letter to my current address on lender's file,instead, they sent it to my prvious addresses & none got to me. Can I sue the lender or the attny? |

| Did you not keep the lender advised of your current address (or why was your mail not forwarded)? How did you not know that you defaulted (per your loan papers) if checks did not clear or whatever other payment method you were using was not deducted? Oops, I just reread that, and it appears that you did notify your lender of your new address. But that does not explain how you did not know that payments were not being made. | How do you know that the current address is on file? Did you previously live there and then move? Were they only sending BILLING notices to the current address? The lender doesn't know that you've moved unless you tell them. Many people have bills sent to one address (work or PO BOX, for example), but that doesn't mean that they live there. However, you knew that you were behind, and had the means to find out about the foreclosure. Did you not get phone calls, or past due notices? ![]()
