Texas-foreclosure

What is the name of your state? TEXAS

MY GRANDMOTHER PASSED AWAY AND I AM LIVING IN THE HOUSE SHE JUST PURCHASED. AT THE TIME I COULD NOT AFFORD IT AND GOT BEHIND BUT NOW I CAN. I AM ALMOST FOUR MONTHS BEHIND AND WAS TRYING TO GET THE MORTGAGE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH ME ON A REPAYMENT PLAN. I AM INDEPENDANT EXECUTOR OF HER WILL. I GAVE THE WILL TO THEM BUT STUPID ME DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED TO RECORD IT IN PROBATE COURT. HOW LONG DO I HAVE? DO I JUST TRY SENDING AT LEAST ONE OR TWO PAYMENTS AND SEE IF THEY KEEP THE MONEY? WHAT HAPPENS IF THEY SEND THE MONEY BACK?

If you want to keep the house you will have to refi it into your own name without the banks approval for you to take over the loan. They are a creditor against the estate with the house as their collateral and that has to be satisfied.

Since you have now proven to them you may not be a very good risk (late pays) they may decide they do not wish to deal with you and request a pay off from the sell of their collateral, the house.

Can you qualify to buy it from the estate by seeking your own financing?
