 Transfer home to inlaws.
What is the name of your state? Virginia
My wife and I recenlty purchased a large home together with her parents. When we purchased it, it was put entirely in my name. Now we have decided that we would like to move out and get another house, but her parents want to stay. I don't want to keep the house in my name, but I'm not sure how to go about transfering it to theirs. Would I have to go through the entire process of selling the house again? Should I file a QuitClaim Deed to add their name to the title, then they can simply refinance the loan rather then purchase the house? Thanks in advance for anyones advice. |
