What is the name of your state? GA

My mom bought a house a couple years ago. She was very sick
and passed away 6 months ago. Before she died she changed
the title of the house to me and my husband
name (taking her name off; i am the daughter). The mortgage
is still in her name though, and the mortgage
company haven't been informed of her passing away.
if we give the house back to the mortgage company (repo)
will we be liable to have to pay the money on the
mortgage as we are on the title? can we just walk away from the house? Please help me!

**A: refi and get a new loan in your name or if you do not wnat the property, sell it.
