Will property lien prevent re-fi??

What is the name of your state? KY

I have a property lien against my home. I am looking into refinancing the mortgage. Will this lien cause problems in completing a re-fi? Will it need to be satisfied/released prior to refinancing?

Yes, unless the holder of said second lien is willing to subordinate to the new first mortgage.
