access easement

What is the name of your state? Idaho

We purchased our property 4 years ago. The access easement was transferred from the seller to us by the neighbor who orginally granted it. It consists of an approximate 300 foot extension of driveway, from the end of his driveway to our property. It is our only access. The easement dosen't say much except that we have the access requested. In the last two years our neighbor appears to have become angry at us for some unknown reason? He has recently begun constructing an arch made out of large metal pipe at the enterance of his driveway. There is a large metal gate sitting at the construction site. Considering his demeanor in recent years I am concerned he may be trying to close us out? Can he legally do this?
