I live in Crete, Il. will county. I have lived here since 1970 and have taken care some land next to my property. I have new neighbors and they put stakes where they think there property line is. I have evergreen, plants that according to her its on her property. Can I a adverse possession. It is only about 2 or 3feet. Can I remove the stakes. We live in the townshipof Crete. We are retired and never had this problem before.
