My family, E, owns a small piece of commerical property that is being impacted on one side by a residence built several years ago. A person who was looking to rent E's property and make some renovations, checked with zoning officials and was told that the residence had made E's lot a zero lot line property.

Have E's rights been violated by this residence? What would be the recourse in this situation?

Any comments would be appreciated.
