What is the name of your state? NC
I share a driveway and the two properties have a cross access easement and joint driveway agreement. I have lived in my home for 10 years and did not any problems with the prior owner. The new owner has been parking his cars on the driveway halfway over the property line. I asked him to please park on his property and he has told me that he can park anywhere as we have this easement and it gives him access to his house. Can someone explain to me the meaning of this type of easement? I would like to place planters along the line, am I able to do this?
Thank you.
