Can anyone give me state law on cutting limbs from a neighbor's tree that overhung onto my property. This was done nearly two years ago and the tree is still very healthly, but neighbor is now stating she wants restitution for cutting her tree. I had a professional cut two low lying limbs before begining construction on our home. The limbs protruded twenty feet or so into our property. Thanks for any help

No, because there are no stautes that say you can. It is simple common law.

Tell the neighbor to stick it!! She has no claim on your actions... and even if she did, the tree is healthy (per your post) and therefore.... NO damages.
