What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?
California
We live on a dead-end street in San Francisco. As a result, our driveway is constantly being used as a turn-around and drop-off point by our neighbors and other lost souls.
Q:
Can we legally demand that our neighbors not use our driveway (which is part of the city sidewalk) and would it be legal to put a plastic speed bump at the entrance to our driveway to discourage it's use? Another option is to purchase a driveway blocker such as the one at this link: http://www.parkingzone.com/llp.cfm?TPL=PZ_ProductDetail.tpl&ProductID=2485
but I wonder whether the city would allow such a device on our driveway/sidewalk?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks much,
Brad
