| | | Driveway Moved What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan
My neighbor recently had a landscaping company construct a cement block retaining wall. We have a driveway along the common property line. Now my driveway has shifted about 4 inches into my flower bed, and the driveway is sliding downward (on the slope). I finally was able to speak with the landscaping company today, and they are denying responsibiliy. BTW, I have had cement company representatives give me estimates and confirmation that it is very obvious what had happened. Is litigation my only recourse?? I really don't want to go that route. Thanks in advance for any advise. |

| | | So your theory is what? They picked up your driveway and moved it? The heavy trucks were on your driveway, causing it to slide down the hill?
