A dumpster has been left on our property by the owning company. We filed a case with the police, who notified us it is now our property for us to do what we wish. We requested owner of dumpster to pick up. However, he won't move it. Since developer of the home didn't pay him during the construction of the home on that property, and is trying to strong arm us into paying him.

((Background: Developer has declared bankruptcy, and has taken the money from the construction loan used to build the home, which is only 70% complete. We are trying to sew the developer for taking the construction loan without completing the house, and the bank for giving it all to the developer without checking on the progress. Although, we have no idea if we'll get anything from it.))

I'd like to confirm if it's true, that we have the right to do anything with the dumpster and that is now our property. We would like to get rid of it. Since our property is becoming a trash yard by the community and is damaging our property because it's about 3 tons.
