What is the name of your state? Alabama

On our Deed it describes our property that our home is on, it includes and easement in front of our home which is described as ALSO and gives the description as 16 foot wide road easement 8 feet each side of a centerline descibed as: and gives the description. Our neighbor claims this is his easement and we have the right to cross over his easement to get to our home. On their deed they have the description of ingress and egress not us. Who own the easement us or them? We feel the word ALSO means to include or in addition too. Also their is another easement road that you have to cross over before you get to our home, and at one time they had the ingress and egress but somehow he purchased the dedicated roadway and now it's included in his property, how could he have purchased it?
Thanks for your help
