    Grazing lease

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
    California
We had been grazing our 2 horses on an adjacent vacant lot with the tenants permission
the tenant moved out & the owner asked us not to use the lot anymore, as he is concerned about the potential liability
I would like to come up with some sort of waiver or lease to mitigate those concerns.
it actually would save him some money as the horses & myself were reducing the fire danger, work which he is now responsible for

You can try that route but if the owner no longer wants you to use their property then you will have no choice but to find somewhere else.

If you cannot have a criminal record, then don't commit criminal acts - seems simple enough.

His issues may be more than what he is indicting as just liability. It may take a lease, liability release, and some monthly cash to make it worthwhile for neighbor. Offer the equivalent of the annual property taxes, so it costs him nothing to continue to hold the property.

We don't need to graze our horses on this parcel
I'm not on bad terms with the owner, I just pulled his truck out of ditch a few days ago

I have another neighbor on a different side of our property, who has expressed an interest, but has similar concerns.
the horses do a good job of reducing the fuel [fire danger] & turning the soil [breaking up the duff].
We made sure to spread the manure every day which controls the flies.

I joined & posted late, so I didn't get to the question
Where can I find a blank or example lease for such a situation?
