What is the name of your state? Texas

This is a question regarding access to some timber land that is landlocked.

The property has been accessible for at least the last 40 years in the landlocked state. Only recently has the owner of the property that surrounds it, who has inherited it I assume, denied access to the land. The tract is part of a managed forestry area and is in need of cutting. My question is, where should I start with this? Does it make a difference that the land has been accessible in the past?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
