We moved into our house 8 years ago and built a fence 6 years ago. Our neighbors moved into their house 4 years ago and recently demanded that we move our fence 5inches off their property. We did even though we thought it was strange but wanted to keep the peace. Now they are building their own fence except on the side that we share--they are just hooking a gate up to our fence--without asking permission or offering to split the cost of the fence (which everyone else in the neighborhood has done) my question is do we have to just sit back and let them
