neighbors


What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? alabama i live in birmingham , alabama . i had some minor problems with neieghbors dogs , children etc. but over weekend my neighbors took it upon thereself to butcher my pecan trees . they did this without asking or telling me anything . they rented a hydrolic platform so they could cut all limbs as it approached ajacent fence . this i feel was done as pure disrespect. they didnt trim back limbs but went to the top of tree butchering it . please give me advise to what my rights are thank youWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Have you called the police to get a report made out ?

Contact a certified arborist to examine your trees to determine if they can survive and remain healthy. Have the arborist value the loss of/to the trees. Ask the neighbor for damages. When they refuse, sue them for the lost value.
