Can politician or solicitor, vendor legally open my screen door to leave card, flyer, etc? What are my rights as a homeowner?

That sounds reasonable, but is there a law or reference showing that it is ok? Could you give me a quote from a legal source? Please! Thanks.

You REALLY think the local prosecutor is going to waste time and money prosecuting vendors, sales folks, and politicians exercising their First Amendment rights????

If you do not want people approaching your door or opening the screen, erect a small fence controlling access to your door, lock it, and lock that screen door as well.

Check here for the state statutes:

But, don't expect the police or a prosecutor to get all excited about it.
