What are the adverse possesion laws for Missouri? We own a property that has an old run down house we are going to tear down. The neighbors think that they should get part of the property when it comes down. They have a fence that has been up for more than 10 years. Do they have any rights? Who should have to pay for a survey for this property dispute?

You are going to need a "Real Estate Attorney" to see if they have a case.

In Missouri, the duration of such possession is ten (10) years. Missouri Code §516.010-.030.
