quorum questionWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OK we have hoa 96 members. 19 showed up to vote for dues increase. 100% voted yes. However, per the statement below, do we need 32 (quorum) present and then a majority of that 32 (17) to have binding vote The membership fee is hereby understood to be subject to change at each annual meeting by a majority vote of the attending voting owners or at any special meeting called by the president of the Circle V Ranch Estates Homeowners Association with a majority of those in attendance , if a quorum exists, being sufficient to make any changes. For the purposes of these covenants, 1/3 of all members of the Circle V Ranch Estates Homeowners Association will be rejoined for a quorum to conduct business. The developer is exempt from the assessments. Last edited by rosscirclevhoa; 06-26-2009 at 05:31 PM. |
