What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?CA

What is the value of having a survey recorded by the county surveyor and county recorder?

Does a survey so recorded have more 'legitimacy' than one that is not?

For example, if there were 2 surveys of the same area that disagree, would the recorded one be considered the official one by a court and the unrecorded one put aside?

Thanks for you comments.

**A: what is a country recoder? And would this person have a decoder ring?

**A: no, recording is only for the purposes of" public record" and does not establish correctness of the contents ie. the survey.

**A: nope. The correct one would be the survey recognized by the court. Only under extreme and rare cases would the old incorrect survey apply.

Thanks for you comments.
**A: no problem. If the surveys you are talking about are for a haunted house, please disreguard my comments.
