What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington

My wife and I own 5 acres with approx. 300' of river frontage on a non navigable River. In WA state, this means our property line is in the middle of the river, and people cannot trespass on our river bank. We can't keep the neighbors kids off of our property, and they let their little kids run wild. Heaven forbid the worst ever happened, but if their child were to drown on our property, could we be held liable?

Thank you for any input.

First, learn what your city / county ordinances are for fencing your lot in . Second learn what your city /county state laws /ords are regarding no trespassing signage and posting requirements are. 3 by all means consider speaking to your homeowners insurance company about increasing your liability coverage 4 look into outdoor nanny cam type systems to record your own property , this way should there be a problem you will have video records of WHO and When.
