We purchased our home from a builder, who contracted to have a new fence installed around the backyard prior to closing. The closing date was August 31, 2000. According to a recent survey that we had done, the fence juts 6 feet onto the neighbor's property. We are going to take our builder to small claims court to relocate the fence, as well as move some sprinkler pipes that are also installed on the neighbor's lot. Is there an applicable statute of limitations in this case?
