What is the name of your state? Vermont

We own property that has a private road that goes through it. Our neighbor's property is land locked by our property and a lake. Our neighbor has a right of way from the road to his property, through our property (which extends the entire width of his property). Both of our deeds state that our neighbor has a right of way through our property "to travel by vehicle or otherwise" to his property. He has planted a hedge surrounding his entire property with the exception of where his driveway is supposed to go. We park our boat trailers on our property but make sure that we leave plenty of room for him to access his property through his marked driveway section. He is complaining and states that his right of way is across the entire front of his property (approx 100 feet) and we cannot park our trailers anywhere in front of his property. As long as we provide plenty of room, do we have the right to park on our property?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Is the easement marked specifically on the property map/deed? Usually access to property is defined and legally expressed in one of the documents.

right of way

all the deed states is that we need to provide vehicle or other access to the property. Is there anything else specific that we should inquire about? Would the town hall be able to help us at all? We are out of staters and this man is a new neighbor.

thanks
