As this map linked to above shows (take off the url brackets) there is a sidewalk which runs besides this complex of what looks like condos/apartments. The sidewalk goes up a few steps and runs through the complex as shown to the alleyway and railroad tracks which lie beyond.
Lawns are L and garages (the open pavilion type) are G. This complex is is part of a row of similar styled complexes. The path from to the alleyway is no more than a few car lengths at most. Realistically is there any sort of legal prohibition or legal trouble you could get into by simply walking through to the alleyway or from the alleyway to the sidewalk?
