Charged after cancellation.... help??

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia

I had signed up for a 14 day trial with a website. Afterwards they would charge 98.00 plus a 19.99 service fee. I cancelled before my trial was up, and got the confirmation of cancellation e mail. I checked my bank account the other day, they had charged me! My account still said active. I e mailed them, and got a response asking for more information. So I gave it to them and I havent heard anything more back. I need my money back. If they dont comply is there anything I can do?

Contact your bank immediately to dispute the charge. Don't even bother with the merchant they will just give you the runaround and delay.
