domain sales

A friend of mine owns a potentially valuable domain name. She has received some low six figure offers. We feel that it may be worth more.

We would like to work with a specialist in this area (lawyer, accountant, etc.) to get a proper appraisal for the domain and also discuss the legal details of completing this type of transaction safely.

Any advice is appreciated.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
