Never received my stuff

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I purchased some cell phones on a website for a large sum of money and never received them. How do I go about suing - can I sue criminally or civally?

And where is the website located? And when did you buy the items?

You probably won't. What country did you wire the money to?

Zig...I'm beginning to feel like a dentist here.

Had he actually ANSWERED my question(s), then we'd be done

Then again, I only asked where the web-site was. I supposed he COULD have answered "On my computer screen!"

Had she answered your question.

This is the same woman with the negligent nurses.

I missed that - but I DO have the disclaimer in my signature:

Sue them in their jursidiction. The answer is vague because I'm tired of acting like a dentist and pulling out the details that should have been offered.

Wiring money. Let's presume this is to another country. No one wires money within the US for cell phones without being really incredibly stupid.

OP, you'd have to sue in the country the money was sent to. Is the cost of travel and ending up in a heavily-biased court (probably Russia or Nigeria, right?) and being out those fees, then likely never getting a penny in the astronomically slim chance the court finds in your favor, worth the hassle?

Wired money how? If you did a bank to bank transfer, you'll probably have enough information to pursue them in their jurisdiction. If you went a WESTERN UNION transfer, you're screwed. Chances are despite appearances the person who retrieved your money is NOT in the US. Once you send them the transaction info, it can be picked up anywhere. WU is for sending your dead beat brother money to get his car fixed, not for retail transactions. WU warns you.
