Online Purchase Not As AdvertisedNew Jersey I am a British expat living in Saudi Arabia. I recently spent in excess of $700 purchasing bed linen online from a vendor in NJ. Not only did he send completely wrong quantities, but the items were not as advertised. I ordered 1000 TC Egyptian Cotton. Some of the items are labelled "100% Cotton" (not Egyptian cotton) and some are even labelled "Westin Hotels & Resorts" making me very suspicious of their origins. The quality of the linen is also extremely poor (I doubt very much if they are 1000 TC). In short, the goods sent are completely unacceptable. I have been in touch with the vendor several times and I'm getting nowhere. What recourse do I have, if any? |

| Very simple. 1) If you paid with credit card, dispute the charge with your card issuer. 2) If you paid cash or can't dispute, contact the NJ court about filing a lawsuit. Then, travel to NJ to appear in court on the date/time set. 3) If you subsequently do get a judgment and the merchant doesn't pay it.... spend the next several years trying to enforce it.
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
