Overseas Transaction Gone Bad

A little over a month ago, I placed a Rolex watch for sale on EBay. A buyer from Singapore made me an offer and I ended the auction early and he paid via PayPal. Due to a family emergency, shipping was delayed for approximately one week. During that time I notified the buyer of the issue and told him the watch would be shipped when I arrived back in town. He thought I was trying to scam him and proceeded to call my cell phone 20+ times a day and sent threatening emails. During this period he even contacted my neighbors, via phone, stating that I had scammed him. I arrived home and sent the watch. Fast forward several weeks, he now states that I sent a fake watch and continues the harassing phone calls/emails even threatening my family. I have been doing business on eBay for over 10 years with a perfect feedback. I ignore him thinking he is just a kook, but today I get a visit from the local PD stating that this person is trying to file theft charges against me. I am at a loss, as I have never encountered anything like this??? I'm in Texas..
